DIAL Africa Highlights

WASH Programme

DIAL Africa provides water trucking to help the communities cope during these dire periods as well as help the communities in building water pans, dams, wells and digging of bore holes. All these efforts contribute to addressing the situation and providing a relatively stable life in the Somalia region.

Nutrition Programme

DIAL Africa implements health programs within its jurisdiction with the main health project focusing on provision of medical services to mothers and children and awareness campaigns on proper child feeding projects and training of community health services providers.

Alternative Livelihoods

DIAL Africa responds by supporting alternative livelihoods, diversifying skills while at the same time contributing to building of communal infrastructure. With support from UNDP-Somalia RSL program, we have provided training and infrastructural rehabilitation along Kismayu-Jilib road.

Animal Health Programme

DIAL Africa in adhering to its vision therefore contributes to this vital sector through a project whose main focus is training of animal health workers, provision of veterinary services to most poor households and helping pastoral associations.

Conflict Resolution

DIAL Africa lives to see a peaceful, empowered and democratic society that encompasses sustainable institutions, human rights protections and economic justice to all humanity.

This vision has therefore moved DIAL Africa to implement Conflict resolution and Peace Building programs in Somalia. Such a project was completed in the greater Galkayo District and managed to reunite the leaders from North and South Galkayo District.
